I highly recommend working with Sam. He's was patient with answering all of my questions and very responsive by phone. This has been the most painless and transparent car buying experience to date! All paperwork was digital and quick. Vehicle and extended warranty pricing was better than the Japanese brands I was cross shopping with and even better than the Volvo dealer in Fort Collins. I also appreciate Sam installing the roof rack at no cost and providing me an Uber to pick up the car on delivery day. Sam and Volvo corporate have also reached out to ensure I'm happy with my purchase a few days later and if I needed anything. I have not experienced this level of detail with other luxury brands.

I have purchased several vehicles in my life and my experience with Sophie and Ryan at McDonald Volvo was absolutely fantastic. Sophie was extremely accommodating to work with and Ryan made the financing piece easy. I really got the feeling that they care about their customers. I was also really impressed by the product knowledge from other employees. I have dealt with dealerships in the past that didn't know much about their vehicles and that is frustrating.

I am so relieved that I found McDonald Volvo. I bought my car and warranty at a different Volvo dealership downtown. I complained about multiple issues with my car, power loss, suspension issues for years and nothing was getting fixed even though they claimed the issue was being resolved. 5 stars because I didn't fall into the negative feelings and scenarios/trappings associated with buying a new car. From the start, the team I worked with (Jeff, Chad, and Matt) were all very transparent about cost. Approximately 80% of the deal was worked out over text prior to me stepping on the lot. They were firm in pricing, but fair and did what they could to work within my budget. The only negative is they waited until last minute to mention warranty plans, which isn't unheard of but also wasn't completely upfront-- luckily I wanted a warranty for the vehicle. The staff I worked with were business oriented but personable when it applied. This will go down as one of the better car buying experiences I've experienced. Thanks guys.

Usually it's excellent but this was the first visit with a Certified Pre-Owned that I bought for my wife last year and only had put 1,000 miles on. I was told I needed a wheel alignment which, after 150 point check, sounds ridiculous that an alignment would be needed. Couldn't even engage in a discussion so I was not happy!

I would walk to work before buying another car from McDonald. We have never felt so unappreciated after an auto purchase. We bought a new Volvo XC90 from McDonald last month. The experience at the dealership was fairly smooth. Marion Ladd was our salesman. Matt Daniel was our finance manager. We negotiated what we considered to be a fair deal and then went thru the signing process with Matt. He gave us his card and assured us if we had any questions we could call him at any hour. My wife received a call from Chad, a sales manager, several weeks after the purchase. He stated that McDonald had miscalculated the sales tax and we would need to pay an additional $760 out of pocket. My wife was a bit confused why someone we had never met was following up and asking for more cash. I called and left Matt a message. After not receiving a call back, I called him again. He picked up and I explained our frustration. He said he would need to speak with someone above him to find a resolution. I never heard from Matt again. I left four follow up messages. Growing more frustrated, I got on the McDonald website to find the phone number for Chad. I called and spoke to Chad. He said there was nothing he could do and he wondered why I would call Matt to ask about it. This response shows they are not serious business people. The relationship was with Marion and Matt. We shouldn't receive outreach from someone who had nothing to do with the transaction. We dropped off a check today. We had no other option because the car needs to be registered. McDonald stated they needed to submit the payment because the DMV would have no record of this transaction til they did. Matt didn't have any additional info. He stated Chad wanted to handle this. We could have returned the car within 30 days but due to McDonald not responding to our outreach the 30 days lapsed. We will not buy another vehicle from any of the McDonald dealerships. It's sad they took an experience that should have been joyous and made it a frustrating one. We were even offered as much as a complimentary oil change. Run away! Or risk an expensive clerical error that will come back to bite you.

I came in with my husband to test drive the xc40 and the xc60 as potential options for my new car. I immediately saw an xc40 that was a color I absolutely loved and could describe it as love at first sight. lol. We were helped right away by Justin who quickly got us set up to test drive the xc40. Then we test drove the 60. Before the drives, Justin thoroughly explained all the various features of the car to me and showed me how to adjust different settings. Post drive, we reviewed promotions that were going on and discounts I was eligible for and eventually I decided I wanted to move forward with the 40 I had initially seen so placed a deposit to hold the car. The day I planned to pick up the car, Justin reached out to let me know it had been detailed and gassed up and was ready for me. Before taking it, I also met with Ryan, a financial manager I believe, to review the logistics of the sale. Ryan was thorough and informative about things and the process was pretty seamless. Before I officially took the car, Justin helped me get everything in the car set up with my personal preferences and helped me connect various apps and walked me through other tech components. We took some pics and I was on my way! The process of buying a car was so intimidating. I didn't want to feel pressured to agree to get myself into something I was uncomfortable with. Both Justin and Ryan were so helpful and never once made me feel like they were just trying to make a sale, even though at the end of the day, I know that is their job. It was a positive experience all around and I am so excited about my car!

I have never bought a used vehicle... ever. Well not since high school. When I knew it was time to start looking for a new car I dreaded going to any dealership. I have to say, I was so pleasantly surprised with my experience as McDonald Volvo. The dealership reflects what a luxury brand should be. Clean, accommodating and comfortable. I arrived about an hour before the dealership closed one evening and Sam McDonald greeted us. I had found a Certified Volvo in the lot that I wanted to check out. Sam was super knowledgeable about the vehicle. We came back the next morning and I bought my first used (Certified by Volvo) car! Sam was great, even got the big red ribbon on the hood in honor of my upcoming birthday. Since the purchase I received an email from a different Sam, Sam Splichal, technology specialist. Talk about customer service. Sam S. reached out to me to check how using the vehicle was going. I did have some questions and he set time up with me to walk through them. This is such a nice service, especially with all the new tech cars have these days. I love driving my new to me vehicle and am looking forward to future interactions with the service team and beyond.

My favorite thing about my service department at McDonald Volvo is that they are always available and incredibly kind. I feel completely taken care of by everyone there. For example, when we couldn't figure out where the piece was to unlock the tires for a flat, they took the time to explain it was in the "frunk" - The front trunk of our electric car. They don't always require us to come in to answer questions and they are wonderful at directing me to solutions when I have questions. Also, it's easy to get him to get service at times that are convenient for us, Including Saturdays!

I think it is sad to have such a dramatic positive experience in comparison to all my other car purchases, they all fit the negative stereotype. This service center here is shady. When I called to make the appointment, I asked directly if there was a cost for a brake inspection and was specifically told no. I drove 30 minutes this morning to be told by Dan that I had to pay 150 for the inspection or I had to get an oil change for there to be no cost for the inspection?! They flat out lied to get me in the door. Furthermore, when I bought the car, the person that sold me the car started texting me trying to take me out. When I didn't respond to his text fast enough, he became rude and aggressive. Stay away from this place.
